Because the ambassador's actions were inconsistent with her tales of her homeworld, it caused the Malonic militaries and World Forum of Malonius to wonder about the authenticity of the benefits of joining forces with her species...

So, I'm ready for a summer that satiates all of your YouTube writing advice and audiodrama needs.
I got the idea for this story after reading Cixin Liu's Rembrance of Earth's Past Trilogy (The Three Body Problem, The Dark Forest, and Death's End) and seeing a video on YouTube whose title implies that humans would be the first civilization to invade another planet with intelligent life. Because of this, I got the idea to write a short story about an alien invasion, but to switch the roles and have aliens be the ones invaded while humans were the aggressors.
