On the Fence about Starting a Side Hustle?

Thinking about starting a side hustle, but aren’t sure if you should do it?
Well I’ve tried all sorts of side hustles over the past 10 years from starting an adult diaper business to website design agency. In this video, I’m going to share the three things I look for in a side hustle and how to evaluate if your idea is even worth trying.

So first off… I think we are at a point where building a business isn’t just a nice to have… but a financial necessity for many people. If you pay attention to the news at all, you already know wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

In fact, I’d even go as far to say Baby Boomers could be the last generation able to work only one job and live a middle class lifestyle. I think we are transitioning into an economic time period where we are all going to need to bring in money outside of a 9-to-5 job.

If you want to be able to do things like take a vacation or two per year (without putting the bill on a credit card), send a kid to college without taking out student loans, or buy a house, I don’t see how you can accomplish this if you are working at a job making less than $75,000 per year.

I know when I first started looking at side-businesses, I started the business out of necessity. After paying my monthly room rent, my car payment, cell phone, student loans, and food there wasn’t any money leftover.

If you’re able to make enough money to live comfortably without a side-hustle… that’s fantastic! Congratulations and you don’t need to watch any further.

But if you’re feeling stuck in your job and don’t feel like there’s any way to make more money, I truly believe starting a side hustle is your best option to make more money assuming it meets a few specific criteria.
