Israel Addresses Deadly Gaza Aid Distribution Shooting Killing 27

Israel addressed the deadly shooting that killed 27 people at an aid distribution site in Gaza on Tuesday. Spokesperson David Mencer said the shooting occurred half a kilometer from a northern Gaza aid point and was targeted at individuals approaching Israeli troops in a "threatening" manner. "Israel is not preventing Gazans from accessing humanitarian aid, and the IDF did not fire at civilians in or near aid distribution zones."
