VCP Technology: PCB Copper Plating

Hey guys. This video shows the VCP (Vertical Continuous Plating) line at PCBONLINE's Jiangsu PCB factory. We use VCP machines to replace the traditional electroplating baths. In the baths, the electroplating edge effect happens and causes uneven copper thickness.

On the VCP line, the circuit boards are plated in the vacuum rather than soaked in the electroplating liquid. In this way, all PCBs have even via copper thickness. This is how details decide the quality.
