Unboxing: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER EAGLE OC 12G

January 2024 saw the announcement of NVIDIA's refreshed mid-range "Ada Lovelace" GPUs in the form of the RTX 4000 SUPER series, namely the RTX 4080 SUPER, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER as well as the RTX 4070 SUPER. Featuring an increase in CUDA cores and clock speeds, the impending launch of the RTX 4000 SUPER series of GPUs has seen the original RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti go EOL (end-of-life) - a relatively short lifespan for these two GPUs given that they were launched not too long ago.

For this video, ALKtech unboxes a non-MSRP RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card that comes with a factory overclock - the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER EAGLE OC 12G. Sporting a WINDFORCE cooler design with alternate spinning fans and direct contact copper heat pipes to keep temperatures at bay, the EAGLE OC 12G represents the mid-range in Gigabyte's GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER product stack.
