★ EXPLANATIONS ★
• AR1 is the name of the main Radestrian broadcaster. It stands for Aveņúzans a Rredeșeșe (the Radestrian Media) 1.
• The interrogatives at the end are a pun: the interrogative particle in Radestrian is ‘gjø’, which also happens to be the first syllable of ‘gjøņúzans’ (news).
• The words ‘gjøņúzans’ and ‘aveņúzans’ are actually doublets. They both come from the verb ‘avaņt’ (to send), whose past tense forms begin with aveņ-, but archaically were gjøņ-.
