The first $5 I made on the internet meant more to me than the first $1,000,000 I made.
3 years ago, I remember sitting in a noisy cafe, hot black coffee in hand, and staring at my computer screen.
The email came in…
“You made an affiliate sale for Dan Koe’s community. Your payout is $5.”
I almost couldn’t believe it.
My first sale on the internet.
It changed everything for me, because up until that point the whole “make money online” idea was just that…
An idea.
It wasn’t until I actually received that email that it all became real for me.
I realized that if I could make $5, I could make $100.
And if I could make $100, then I could make $1,000.
A new paradigm was unlocked and I became addicted to learning how to make more sales, and at higher prices.
This lead to me getting into social media ghostwriting.
And within the first 28 days of launching my business?
I landed a $3,000/month client.
Then a $5,000/month client.
Then another $3,000 client.
$11,000 a month by the age of 23.
A few months later, I hit $20,000/month.
Then my first $50,000 month.
But it all started with that first $5 sale.
And that’s why I encourage people to focus on making $1 on the internet.
Not because it’s life-changing money, but because it makes you realize it’s all possible.
That’s why I love what I do now.
I get to help people not just make their first $1 online, but also make a full-time income with social media and writing.
My favorite messages are the ones from people who tell me they just quit their jobs to go all in on their ghostwriting business.
