About this video: FIRST EVER STORM STEERING DROGUE COMPARISON --- The world's top seven storm steering drogues are compared for the first time using Fiorentino's load cell equipment to measure the amount of force placed on each storm device. In the first test, all products are deployed as is----right out of their package from the manufacturer. Nothing's been added or changed in any manner. For the second test, chain placement is added to all drogues and deployed the second time to measure and compare differences from the first test.

This video was inspired by sailors who kept asking Zack for storm drogue comparison information. Since there was none available, we chose to upload one of Zack's load cell tests so sailors could form their own opinions. This real life test video contains no scripted narration which may leave you asking questions. COAST GUARD APPROVED:
It is important to note how there is no such thing as a "Coast Guard approved" Series Drogue. Yet, some salespeople will inappropriately make such a claim to sell their products. It is quite possible the Coast Guard does not have the time nor funding to police such false claims.
