Sheffield Well-Being Consortium

Sheffield Well-being Consortium is made up of over 60 not-for-profit member organisations delivering health and wellbeing services and activities in their communities. The primary goal of the Consortium is to serve the needs of people living in Sheffield, especially those who are the most disadvantaged or have mental health problems. They deliver contracts on behalf of their local authority and NHS including running a scheme to raise awareness of NHS Lifechecks, provision of services to people with type 2 diabetes and a programme to enable more people with mild to moderate depression and anxiety to benefit from psychological therapies. In 2010 the Consortia secured SEIF funding to help expand their services across more of the South Yorkshire region.
