There are 200 different types of total 30000 Cheery Blossom trees in Mt. Yoshino, Nara, Japan.
In end of March through April, cherry blossom trees start to blooming from lower part of the mountain to upper mountain, Simo-senbon, Naka-senbon, Kami-senbon, Oku-senbon. In Japanese phrase, expression of Yoshino's Cheery Blossom trees is called "One view a thousand cherry trees at a time." It depends on the weather, when the flower starts to bloom and be in full bloom. So, check the weather before you go.
From Osaka, Mt. Yoshino can access by Kintetsu Railway. It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes by a limited express train from Osaka Abenobashi station. Mt. Yoshino is in front of the Kintetsu Yoshino station. It is about 2 hours walk to upper part of the mountain, Kami-senbon from Kintetsu Yoshino station. Ropeway is available to lower part of the mountain. In a season, bus is also available to mid part of the mountain.
