Synopsis:

In Khidki, writer-director Anhad Mishra crafts a poignant tale centered around Suresh (Naseeruddin Shah), an eighty-year-old man whose deepest connection is not with people—but with the view outside his apartment window. Left alone in a city that has moved on without him, Suresh finds solace in the rhythms of the world outside his khidki.

But when he's forced to vacate the home—and the view—that has kept him grounded for over a decade, he faces a heartbreaking reality. Can a man survive without the only thing that’s kept him alive?

Starring a nuanced cast of characters including a loyal domestic helper, a compassionate neighbor, and an estranged son, Khidki explores the invisible threads of connection, loss, and belonging in a society that often forgets its elders.
