China Now More Popular Than USA Globally

China is now more popular worldwide than America for the first time ever. The majority of people surveyed around the world had a negative perception of the US, a massive decrease from last year. Last year, 72% of the world had a positive perception of the US, now only 45% do. And now 64% of the world has a positive perception of China. Almost every country in North and South America views China more positively and every single country in Africa does. In Europe, it’s a bit more mixed but still pretty heavily in China’s favor. In Asia it’s about 50/50 and Oceania is split 50/50 because Australia likes America and New Zealand likes China. More people described the US as authoritarian than Democratic. The countries that America scored the worst in are Switzerland, Canada, and Sweden. The countries we scored the best in were the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and Georgia. Trump also scored the worst among world leaders with only 27% of the world having a positive view of him, while 58% have a negative view. Putin, Musk, and Xi all scored higher than him. Now, it’s not all doom and gloom! The US wasn’t the least popular country in the world. Unlike Trump, we only finished 7th last. Russia and Hungary are below the US and in dead last are Israel and Iran. It’s a mystery as to why the US has suddenly become so unpopular but frankly, we’re going to look into it.
