Enough Talk! Take Action to Correct the Lack of Representation in Hollywood

Media articles, reports, and social media campaigns have repeatedly raised awareness about the fact that despite the vast talent pool of Latino filmmakers, storytellers and creators, The 2022 UCLA Hollywood Diversity Report for the film industry indicates that despite the fact that 18.5% of the U.S. population is Latinx, just 7.7% of film roles went to Latinx actors. In addition, shows about or created by Latinx creators have been canceled as well as movies with Latinx cast. The entertainment industry knows that it has a problem.
