During my stay in the Philippines, I wanted to visit the island of Bohol, home to the smallest living primate species, the tarsier.
From Cebu City, I took a ferry to reach the island, where I was immediately swarmed by the tricycle mafia trying to sell me overpriced rides and tickets I didn’t even need (yes, I’ll share some of my "expert negotiation tips" with you).
In the end, I decided to rent my own bike, so I wouldn’t have to rely on overpriced tuk-tuks and tricycles while exploring the beautiful island of Bohol.
In this vlog, I’ll take you with me through the jungles, visit waterfalls and the iconic Chocolate Hills, and even spot some tarsiers.
I hope you enjoy the video, and if you do, I’d be very happy if you left me a like and subscribed to my channel :)
If you’re interested in seeing tarsiers on Bohol yourself, I strongly recommend visiting the Tarsier Sanctuary Foundation, as it’s the only ethical place to see tarsiers in the wild (www.tarsierfoundation.com/)
