Xiao Bing Chih, a fully self-produced singer-songwriter, has received endorsements from music heavyweights like Mayday’s Ashin and Jay Chou. Debuting in 2009, he was the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for the band Magic Power (MP魔幻力量). Xiao excels in composing, lyric writing, piano performance, and singing. Many of his solo works have become instant classics, with music videos for hits like Secretly (偷偷的) and I Still Love You (我還是愛著你) surpassing 100 million views on YouTube.
Since his debut, Xiao has performed with the band across the globe, with sold-out shows at major venues such as Taipei Arena and Kaohsiung Arena, and tours spanning Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto, Vancouver, Shanghai, and more.
In 2018, Xiao embarked on his solo career, releasing fully self-written albums Mortal (凡人), Wild (狂人), and Imperfect(完人). Many of his singles have dominated the charts, with Addition(毒藥) topping 20 different rankings. His signature “Xiao-style love ballads” have cemented his irreplaceable status in the Mandopop scene.
In 2024, Xiao reunited with former bandmate “GBOYSWAG” to form the limited-time duo GX, embarking on a year-long Asia tour. Later that year, his Alive solo tour brought him back to Taipei Arena, where he once again achieved a sold-out show — this time as a solo artist.
“Writing songs is the greatest love of my life,” Xiao once said. Xiao Bing Chih is undoubtedly one of the most promising and influential singer-songwriters in the Chinese music scene today.
