Today we will take a look at how to add mixed numbers, whole numbers and fractions.

In this lesson, I will show you the easiest way to add mixed numbers, whole numbers, and fractions. Before getting into this lesson, we will remember the definition of a mixed number, and the proper fractions.

To find the sum of mixed numbers, whole numbers, and fractions, first, add the whole numbers, and then, the fractions, that’s it! We will solve 2 different problems to show how easy it is.

In the second example, we will also convert an improper fraction to a mixed number.
