In Euphoria season 2, Rue Bennett's style reflects the journey of her relapse. From rock-bottom to growth. Her dark, black outfits are used to show how intense her addiction is. She doesn't put as much effort into her looks this season, because she doesn't care. Her relationships start to deteriorate (she's mean to Ali, hurts Jules, fights with her mom, uses Lexi, etc.) and she becomes more desperate (especially when she's on-the-run in "Stand Still Like a Hummingbird"). In the final two episodes, yellow is used as a sign of hope.
