Shibumi Boat Build EP 11 - Tilting Radar Arch on hinges and hydraulic rams - Steel Boat Building

Finally making the Radar arch fold back for low bridges, and any lifting with out having to remove an array of antennas, nav lights and radar dome.
Uncharted territory as I'd planned this all along but never fully figured it all out at the time 10 years ago. Turns out the hinges I designed way back then were perfectly designed.. Who knew !!

It's great to be now actually finishing and building Shibumi now that the hull restoration is complete.
