Kujukushima is a large sea area connecting 25 kilometers from Sasebo port to Hirado City in the north. As it is named Kujukushima (which literally means “99 islands”), it is often thought that there are 99 islands, but in fact there are 208 islands in total, including 4 inhabited islands and 204 desert islands. As if wrapping these, the complex Rias coast spreads.
