Use vectors to embed artwork into SOLIDWORKS Composer’s SVG outputs. Many companies use the SOLIDWORKS Composer SVG outputs for clean and interactive instruction manuals, training materials and product illustrations.
A lot of the time, because people are used to using raster images such as JPEGS, PNGs and TIF files, these are the file types that use to import into SOLIDWORKS Composer. However, if you are then exporting a vector image such as SVG or EPS from Composer, the system cannot embed a raster image into a vector output and therefore it must create a lot of links to these images.
We’ll show you an alternative method of being vector images into Composer which then can be embedded into the output meaning cleaner files but also better interactivity.
