Chinese tech hub Shenzhen is now home to four of world’s top five portable energy storage firms

Southern China's Shenzhen city, home to four of the world’s top five portable energy storage companies, is securing its place a global leader in the sector.

About the size of a small toaster, portable energy storage systems like these are great for outdoor activities or for businesses or homes to use as a backup energy source.

This model maintains 70 percent of its capacity even after 4,000 charges.

The are currently some 7,000 energy storage companies now based in Shenzhen.
