【Tsurumaki Maki AI (Lite)】Bunga & Amsyar Leee - Belai【SynthV Cover】

I found this song on Spotify one day, and thought it was pretty unique with how it included elements of Malay folk music and still being quite catchy.
I used Maki's English voicebank for this cover. If you hear her singing in different voices at certain parts, that's cause I wanted to make it so she's singing both Bunga and Amsyar Leee's parts in the original song.

Regarding the translations in the video, they are just my own interpretations of the lyrics. It's quite difficult to give a direct translation to them as they're a mesh of many idioms and metaphors. It took me days to decipher.
By the way, "Ikan kekek mak iloi-iloi" and "Ikan gelama mak ilai-ilai" are the lyrics of a Malay children's song. I don't really know how to translate it, just know it has something to do with fish.
