The IQS620A ProxFusion® IC is a multi-functional capacitive, inductive & hall effect sensor. (Available in DFN10 - 3x3 & WLCSP9 - 1x1.5)

Its capacitive and inductive capabilities allow enables the device to distinguish between human, polymer, metal & hybrid materials.

The functionality can optimize the battery life of smart watches & wearables by only activating HR monitor, gps & accelerometer when needed. By measuring absolute capacitance the IQS620A allows the device to determine presence immediately on startup.
