the story is that. political assassination. heronpaw's a big supporter of duckfeather for deputy, reedsong isn't and they argue a lot. duckfeather takes a bunch of thunderclan apprentices hostage and during their escape, duckfeather uses this to get rid of reedsong and pin it on the apprentices. which ends up looking REALLY bad when one of said hostages kill duckfeather in the middle of his nine lives ceremony but hey /shrug
