The first changes I made
Living “crunchy”
1. found a local farmer and got my eggs from them FRESH (did you know the grocery store eggs can be MONTHS old?
2. Started (trying) to eat 30 different plants a week. *Greatly improving my microbes /gut health.
3. Started reading labels (I cut out and found replacements for any food that had maltodextrine, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, canola oil, or dextrose.
*This one is huge, if you want to go slow you can try and cut out a new thing at a time.
literally everything we ate had those things in it.
I’m still slowly transitioning my kids away from it.
Switched out sweeteners for pure maple syrup and raw honey.
