Global Trends Investor (GTI) is a new momentum investment research service published by ByteTree, launched in May 2025. GTI covers the world's 2,000+ largest global equities, comparing them by relative strength to highlight strong, emerging, weakening and bearish trends. It employs a systematic approach, with signals based on hard facts rather than opinions. That is, what stocks are actually doing, not what people think they should do.

At the heart of GTI is the Currency-Adjusted Price Relative (CAPR). CAPR was developed by ByteTree founder and former fund manager, Charlie Morris, over 20 years ago. Charlie has been using it with great results throughout his nearly three-decade-long career, working professionally in financial markets, and GTI is the result of the wealth of experience and lessons learned along the way.
