This is the best defense in RimWorld

Make sure to have a Psychic Shock Lance ready.
Before you kill a Centurion, use the lance to psychic shock it.

Then, quickly haul its body into a small room and wall it off.

Once it gets back up, you’ve got a 300 HP shield barrier that blocks everything except mechanoid weapons, EMPs, and aerial attacks.

If the shield gets destroyed?
No problem — it regenerates in 30 seconds.
