His Dark Materials Main Theme (Remix) - Oliver Lugg

AKA how many crescendo fake-outs can I fit into four minutes?

The BBC/HBO TV series adaptation of His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman has a pretty awesome main theme, so when its composer Lorne Balfe announced he was giving away the stems for free for remixing, I couldn't resist. I ended up with a part ambient, part techno reworking of the main motifs in various ways. I even included the sound of the cave computer from the TV show. Overall I'm really quite happy with it, especially considering I made it in only four days and it's the first music I've completed in months (damn you tinnitus!).
