Introducing "Diamonds in the desert" video series

Phoenix is one of the most populated cites in the country. The Phoenix metro is currently one of the biggest growing metros in the United States and it is not slowing down anytime soon.

However, Phoenix culture, and history is hardly talked about. It was rarely discussed or recognized back then, and even with the city growing and expanding it still is not talked about now. That could be due to Phoenix not being seen as a luxurious or eye grabbing city as others are. Black culture and history in Phoenix is even double that in regards to lack of exposure and recognition.

So In this series, I would like to discuss and recognize notable black figures in Arizona that have made a impact and have been successful that were from or made their name here in the valley.
