Nasdaq Eerily Tracking its 1990s Bull Run

In this video, we show that the Nasdaq Comp continues to broadly, and almost eerily, track its mid-1990s experience in terms of its bull run and occasional pullbacks. Since the Nasdaq Comp’s low in December 2022, it is up 93 pct. That’s close to the Comp’s 87 pct gain over the same period from the start of 1995. Takeaway: The mid-late 1990s shows Tech bull markets based on a new disruptive innovation are occasionally bumpy, but long-term exposure to this theme is the only way to match index-level returns.
