What Falling in Love Feels Like..
This piece was heavily inspired by Erik Satie, the French composer from the late Romantic era around later 1800s-early 1900s. His work, often described as ironic and unconventional, really stood in stark contrast to the traditional romantic music of his predecessors. I've always been captivated by his minimalist approach, which is why I’ve tried to capture that same ironic essence in this composition. Specifically, I drew inspiration from his "Gymnopédie No. 1" and "Je te veux," aiming to evoke the sounds of Paris during that romantic period. I hope you enjoy 🩷
