Sailing Vessel Sea Globe is on day 12 - 18 of our trip from Alaska down the Inside passage of Canada From Prince Rupert, We anchored in Klemtu and then heading to Goose Bay we pull into Shear Water to wait for a storm to blow over. We get to the dock and head up to a restaurant for lunch and a break from the boat and make it inside just as it starts to hail. It is Canada's Thanksgiving holiday and we can't get ahold of the Marina or the fuel dock so we wait for everyone to come back from their vacation. We have 4 days waiting for storms to die down and enjoy resting a little while we wait and tour around the little town and dock and then head to Bella Bella as well for a tour. Mellow enjoys getting some dock time and long walks. We go outside and enjoy every break in the weather. We keep rechecking the weather to determine our best weather window with back to back storms coming in preferring to be at a dock than anchored during the storms. Finally have a small travel window and make to Goose Bay right as the radio station reports gale warnings. We enjoy some Seafood chowder and fresh baked bread by Scott and enjoy the wildlife and tiny dock.
