What's really behind the China and US Trade Deal?

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Following two days of high-level talks in Geneva, the United States and China have agreed to substantially lower their tariffs for 90 days while they pursue new terms of trade.

China will shrink its tariffs on American imports to 10% and the U.S. will lower its tariffs on Chinese goods to 30%, which includes a 10% baseline tariff and a 20% tariff President Donald Trump imposed on China earlier this year in an effort to curb the flow of fentanyl into the U.S. These changes will be implemented by Wednesday.
