In that village, there was a brave girl named “Ella.” Ella always looked at the night sky and thought.
“Why must our village lose its moonlight? If I could uncover this secret, everyone would be happy.”

One night, Ella went into the old forest on the outskirts of town. People believed that the forest was magical and did not go near it, but Ella was not afraid.

When Ella reached the deepest part of the forest, she found a glowing pond. There was a small moon-shaped stone in the center of the pond, and on top of it was a woman sleeping quietly.

Ella cautiously approached the woman and asked.
“Who are you? And why has our town lost its moonlight?”

The woman slowly opened her eyes and said.
"I am the goddess of the moon. I took away the moonlight because your village's ancestors stole my precious light. But seeing the courage you have shown to come this far, I think I can give you a chance."

Ella put her hands together and made a earnest request.
“Please bring the moonlight back to our village. How can we be forgiven?”

The moon goddess smiled and answered.
“What I love is dancing and singing. If you dance under the moonlight with all your heart, I will accept your heart and give you the moonlight back.”

Ella immediately returned to the village and told the people. The villagers did not believe it at first, but after hearing Ella's sincere words, they all began preparing in unison.

On a night when the full moon was rising, the villagers gathered in the village square. Ella was the first to start dancing, and soon everyone started dancing and singing together.

At that moment, the moon, which had been dim in the sky, became brighter and brighter, and finally began to illuminate the entire village. The voice of the Moon Goddess was heard from the sky.
“I felt your sincerity. From now on, this village will forever be with the moonlight.”

That night, the moonlight dispelled all the darkness in the village, and the people were filled with joy and joy. Ella looked up at the sky and smiled.
“Now our village is no longer trapped in darkness.”

Since then, the village has expressed its gratitude to the moon goddess through dance and song every year on the day of the full moon.
