I never realized that they were basically a factory skunkworks team this entire time. That makes SO MUCH SENSE. Why doesn't Toyota advertise this in Canada and the US more?! We have insanely bad winters and incredible offroad trails in all over the continent.

Now, THIS is a properly good looking Land Cruiser. The new one has no appeal to me but this thing looks like it's made for Iceland in a blizzard. If you wanna take a truck or SUV to the end of the world, Arctic knows their craft.

Did they install shorter final gear since they went from stock 33” tires to now a 37” tire? Thats a 12% increase in size, or a 12% decrease on overall wheel torque so it will definitely affect acceleration and gas mileage. So at $30k I hope so

Original Artic Truck rigs were 80 series landcruisers with 44 inch tires and basically a stock setup, besides some minor cutting here and there. They were beautiful yet capable monsters and I always wanted to do to mine
