This movie has an interesting start, but immediately there are a few details that the filmmakers may have overlooked. The public school buses in Okaloosa County Florida record video while the students are on the bus. The bullying we see early in the story would have resulted in serious consequences for the two boys. The teacher in the classroom failed to manage the misbehavior of her class, and her snippy comment to Sistine was seriously problematic. Another bullying incident in which a crowd of unsupervised children converge on Sistine outside suggests that the director was unfortunately not concerned about depicting events in a more effective way. All of this in the first fifteen minutes of the film.
