It depends where you live. I live in Switzerland and buffalo rounds are almost unknown in my country and the mapple leafs are known but austrian philharmonics are way more popular and cheaper for 999 silver. Otherwise 835 swiss silver coins are very popular.

Also remember that most dealers pay spot for silver. So whatever premium you paid over for it, most likely won’t get back. From experience, just can’t beat a Buffalo round.

I do like the way the maples look but I don't like the fact that it IS denominated $5 if you think about it that money is for Canada so they own it and maybe one day they can demand that you bring it back!? But a generic round is 100% yours

Wise as these are never circulated, at least not to the point of silver loss like constitutional. Also, the anti-counterfeiting on Maples is second to none.
