Three things I really like about ereaders: the e-ink display looks great in direct sunlight (unlike LCDs), if you fall asleep while reading it does not lose your place in the book (unlike real books), and the battery life is days or weeks between charges.

I have a third e ink monitor for my pc, amazing that you use every option of your pc while reading for hours at a time. For me it's the best option with the least amount of comprises.

maybe its cuz i have a iphone 12 mini but reading manga on the phone form factor is really painful because you have to either zoom in and mess with that (it never works properly) or try and eyeball the tiny text

Does the backlight completely turn off? It doesn't on any of the Kindles these days and that's one of my gripes. I want an e-reader that has zero backlight.
