Ey, he's back! I feel ya on the grindiness of Genshin. It's also part why I've been shifting towards more content based on individual ideas I had rather than series based stuff. Same vein of just trying to show what I find fun in Genshin rather than doing the same thing in another account with a different spin. It just wears on you to have to play multiple Genshin accounts... (I honestly cannot fathom why anyone has multiple accounts in Genshin that is not doing it for content lol). I can handle continuing on Polearms Only because I really do enjoy playing the game on that account, and I feel it gives me valuable perspective on trying to make the most out of what you have available to you, but most importantly it isn't really that grindy any more. I can afford to miss dailies, not spend resin, and not do some events if I do not feel like it or I don't have time. But my weapon banner only series... I am conflicted with, as people presumably enjoy the series since it has had more consistent viewership than I'd have expected, but I do not personally enjoy playing on the account, and I find it shows nothing of value other than how truly bad the weapon banner is lol. So for many months now I have gone back and forth on ending the series or continuing it simply because clearly some people get value out of it, even if I do not. For now I am basically kinda just continuing with it so long as I have some idea to be a goal to work towards for a video, but if I run out of ideas for things to meaningfully make new ideas out of the account, I will probably end it. When that will be, I do not know. I do know HOW it will end, though :)

Dang that C1 Zhongli just surprised the heck out of me, but I mean you deserve it after doing that Sakura World Quest using only Shield characters.

It sounds like you've been through a lot in your 3 months absence. At least now that you've uploaded, it means that you're getting better. I'm curious to what type of content you're going to make but, please, remember to have fun. Also, I find it kinda funny the moment you said that you're about to end this series the game just gave you 2 Zhonglis in one pull.

Congrats on getting c1 Zhongli ++ And yeah, it's understandable that grinding and doing same things over and over again is really exhausting. I know the feeling. I have only one challenge account (catalyst only) but beside that i have my main and my second account (that was created in times when there was no real cross platforming, and you couldn't link your ps4 account to your mobile for example). After two years of managing two accounts + account of my friend and after a year of managing three accounts + account of my friend - i decided to get rid of friend's account and started playing on my second account less and less. I also for quite some time didn't log in on my main as frequent as i used to, but now i started to pay it more attention. My catalyst account was a top priority, considering how many new catalysts they throw at us (like man, i still don't have Mona and Klee and they already saying that Cloud Retainer is a anemo catalyst, what?, oh my god, i spent everything on Neuvellette and Wriothesley, who both came late and traumatized me with c1 and c2 Jean respectively). I'm still having fun with it though, especially solving puzzles that are for archers (and so far only one puzzle is unsolvable - pyro monuments in the desert, maybe if i had Klee i could use her delayed bombs, i dunno) and managed to get first 36* abyss (though current abyss is too difficult for Neuv without shield, so i gave up) But overall doing same quests and same events is exhausting as hell, so i'm thinking of dropping my second account too after i get the last things i want there, and focus only on my main and catalyst account. So yeah if you feel exhausted as well i think you should think about your priorities. Which account is more fun and which is not, and drop the least favorites. Health comes first, like Baizhu likes to say ;)

Shields only! A series that I do love but just one of many. While I'm sad to see it wind down, I completely understand the reasoning behind it. Not only are you repeating a lot of content over and over again, the limitations are quite steep (as we very much saw in the quest for C1 Beidou and the lack of anemo/hydro). I'd like to think Zhongli arrived like he did to acknowledge your shielding efforts. 😄 But yeah, multiple accounts and grinds on top of a very busy IRL is no joke. I know I for one very much enjoy your vids that highlight underused characters or unusual builds in Genshin; those are always interesting to get an idea of how characters work and how they might unexpectedly surprise. And while I don't play Honkai Star Rail, I do enjoy those vids as well. It's a different kind of combat/thinking, you know? All that is to say, I'm interested in whatever direction you take the channel. Looking forward to the next vids! ✌

Zhongli is like, heeeey, stay don't leave LOL Grinding same things over and over again can be incredibly taxing. So yeah, if series like this is noy your cup of tea anymore, it's for the best to stop and not let it kill your joy. Looking forward for whatever else you will cook :)

At this moment in time I have over 8 accounts that have beat Liyue AT LEAST, with 4 of them having got to the middle or end of Inazuma, and 2 that’s completed the story— ^^’ I completely understand your feelings about series / challenge accounts. I hardly ever play on my genshin accounts except for my newest one. I prefer HSR grinding like you do lmao

I lost my 50 50 to Zhongli as well to qiqi of all people. It would've have been so bad if I would've gotten diluc constellations but no I had to get the worst character in the game lol

I feel like to me the most interesting parts of these kinds of challenge accounts are main story (specifically certain limitations you run into, such as being forced to use trial characters) and puzzles where you're expected to use specific types of characters that aren't available to you. The issue is that there's too much grinding and slog to get through in order to make such accounts work, and if you're not doing that on stream it just doesn't translate well into content.
