I absolutely loved this movie! It brought tears of warm feelings and it took me back home to NYC where I was born and NJ where I was later raised…I’ve been living in Florida for over 20 years now and although I love it here, I will always miss life in my first home my first love. The store right around the corner, the kids outside playing, the block parties and the beauty of diversity with sound and joy coming from the hearts and the laughter of all, in one present moment! ❤ Love!

I love the way this movie shows 1) how diverse people can live in peace together, 2) how "the boosters" are more than what most make them up to be, and 3) how issues can be resolved without bloody war or endless negotiating. Sweet!

This was a great movie! Yes, a bit slow-moving at first, but I stuck with it because the lead actor is just so handsome! He does really look like Richard Gere! Good chemistry with the leading lady too. Nice, wholesome story.🥰

Beautiful movie depicting the father and son bonding, which is very exemplary to the present youth. Caring for neighbors and friends and customers too. Amongst all the blooming of love again.❤

Loved it, definitely gets a thumbs up. Actors are very likable, the story is cute and the writing was well done. There were lots of good-funny lines. Having grown up around the corner from the Golden Gate it makes me very sentimental for the “old” neighborhood. Thank you for making me remember the good times growing up in Brooklyn!

I loved this movie, it brought me back memories of the years I lived in Brooklyn. The community of Canarsie was very close to each other, we used to have blocked parities, we got along so well even though we came from many different countries. Unfortunately it doesn’t exists anymore 😢

I loved the characters, the back and forth, brought back many memories...I worked for an Italian from Brooklyn...the characters are real tootchie, bootchie, I love Mike Rispoli...every bit of this movie was a hoot...😅😂😅😂😅😂😅

Great movie. Love to see neighborhoods come together, and love to see Italians represented, and getting along with everyone of all races, ethnicities, and sexual persuasions. And also love seeing doggies 🐕 being defended and supported. Good feel-good movie all around, without needless cursing, even though I totally curse myself:) It had some innuendos and puns, but nothing overly gross or sexist or violent. Not many movies fall into all of these categories anymore. So thanks! And great to see the older actors! They’re the best, and so glad they were in this, including the guy from the Sopranos. Fun seeing them. There’s just something about them, and the older people in all of our towns and neighborhoods, that’s kind of irreplaceable.
