I've always wondered how the card could get on the other side of the glass. But in this clip, there's a woman sitting at the window seat (@ 0:29). She probably saw how this trick was done.

The woman in the window is his accomplice. She put a small piece of wax on the middle of the card (which you can see if you look closely). She then places it on the window when their attention is on David Blaine. Then he just throws the cards at the window and it appears that the card went through it and stuck to the other side.
