I'm here just to leave a thank you note. I've just gotten a job offer. This is my second job in a managerial position. 
Binge watched the interview videos two weeks ago, and went for the interview last week. They proceeded to the 2nd interview with me immediately after finished the 1st.
I'm sure this is the combination of many factors but I'm also sure I walked into the interview room more confidently this time, and they're pleased with my responses.
For this job hunt, I spent two and a half months. Went for interviews with five companies, failed three, got two offers, declined the first and accepted the second. For those who are still looking, keep looking, learning, and be hopeful!

Ideally, the best method to handle this is to ask, "how soon do you want me to start?"; and let the interviewing panel know that you would need about 30 days prior notification, and hand-over period in your current place of employment. 

Nevertheless, you should also express the notion that you will be available to resume based on the schedule and expectations of the new employer.

What if I actually have things planned, in my current job I let my manager know at least a couple of months ahead or at most 2 or 3 weeks

They always ask at the end of the interview if you have any holidays planned. They do that here in London 99% of the time. You are not bringing the question to the table; they ask you.

I love your videos  but can you tell the job interview person? That your company is closing down. They’re sinking, but I do love my job. Don’t get me wrong. Is that a good  thing to say
