@SeanyShay

RIP Layne Staley. Today is April 5 2025 and marks 23 years since he passed.

@chriswebb7822

Can we all just give a huge shoutout to the rest of the band, man those guys are good!! πŸ‘β€β€πŸ”₯

@MickReynoldsAug7

Wow!!! The sustain on the note Billy hit at 5:15 is mind blowing! Especially on an acoustic guitar. Amazing!!!
Love this fucking guy! And he is from Michigan. The state I was born! ❀

@consentofthegoverned5145

It was said that watching Layne sing this at the MTVUP concert was the closest thing to watching a man sing at his own funeral. This song haunts me.

@MrLeoYaus

Imagine living in a small remote town with a single watering hole and there's this one guy that shows up to play for neighbors and friends.

@laurawatters914

BILLY STRINGS COVERS ALOT OF GRUNGE, ALICE IN CHAINS AND PEARL JAM, THAT IS SOO COOL MY FAVORITE GENRE 90'S GRUNGE. THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’“πŸ”₯🀘✌️

@erich9011

Jar Of Flies. So much goodness from those days. So many lazy Sunday afternoons.

@PlayaListic1999

I Love that Billy does this song... R.I.P. Layne and all my lost Brother and Sisters... This song is Life...

@yunggunz3000

tribute to one of the greats of all time. AIC will forever be in a top 10 band for kids in the 80-90's.

@ericmiller74

Just wow... Nutshell is one of my favorite songs of all time and this does it beyond justice. Billy made it his own but retained the magic.

@mixermanbear.4002

One of if not the most melancholic truth songs of our time and realm ever written. Beautifully done!

@douglasweekley6245

How could anyone hate on billy when has performances like this! Absolute treasure!

@stevecaines8174

I got a feeling he grew up with this music, he may look young but he has an old rocker soul, damn, something just got in my eyes.

@guzziguy2011

Little did I know back in the 90's this song would become a brilliant classic. Layne's voice and AIC's composition of it is masterful.

@danielklopfenstein9756

This song has mad heart so much feelings and passion. RIP Layne and Mike. Thank you Billy and everyone else. Layne or Mike if you see my Dad up there tell him i miss him.

@klm4446

Love honoring and appreciating Layne's songwriting.

This young man is one of the most amazing musicians and guitar players I have ever heard.

@user-xq5ih5oz2u

Thank you, Billy. There is a god. My favorite AIC song ever. I’ve been listening to them since the 90s (I’m old). Glad to hear this performance - it’s such a bright spot in all of this darkness. I’m sure Layne is smiling down upon you here and Jerry is super proud! Keep on shining! ❀❀❀❀❀❀🀘🎸🀘🎸
