I love how Pooh basically did a double take at 23:29 . Like as if he was saying, "Did- Did that person tried to hide in a furnace?"
I love how they explain away the first movie's awfulness as a bad in universe horror film while still keeping it canon. And I'm glad that they listened to you and have Pooh say "Oh Bother" this time. This movie is such a big improvement. If this is the standard for the rest of the twisted childhood universe, I think it'll be okay.
James at the start of the Kill count: I don't like this movie. James by the end: I fricking love this movie.
to everyone who isnt english, the overhead shot of the limbs in the water is actually a reference to a game we play as kids called poo sticks. you stand on a bridge and each person has a stick, you throw it in the water and with the currant of the river the first stick to be brought out the other side wins. its amazing to see little things like that
10:58 I hate the “It’s [insert name here]in’ time” meme. But the fact that this movie actually did it (in a satirical manner as well which helps). I can’t help but respect that.
10:59 The fact that I can actually say "My favorite part of Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2 was when Pooh said 'It's Poohing time'" is the best thing ever.
my dad and i used to watch ur kill counts until he passed away last year. i be watching them still in his memory thank you for making these, James and Co!
21:03 James doing the "Pooh squints at paper" meme just made my entire week
I met Matthew Lillard at Chicago Fan Expo two months ago. His line became so long that volunteers gave out separate tickets for any in line to either have an autograph, selfie, or both. I was lucky to meet him. He is funny and spends so much time with fans. A family went before me, and their daughter was so excited to meet him that he took time answering more questions from her. He also accepted a kid's request if the cast members who appeared in the Scream panel would scream very loud. Any who have the chance to meet him will have a wonderful experience.
I nearly passed out after James said he did a interview with Matthew Lillard
I’m seriously impressed by the website. It actually has a purpose aside from “this is our website, here’s a mission statement and a few photos and that’s about it!” That cataloging must’ve been a massive undertaking!
Love that you finally made the kill count for this, but there’s some things to point out: - the trio that killed Piglet went to the woods for revenge bc Darrell’s girlfriend was one of the victims in the beginning - Pooh and Owl weren’t littering the river with the dad’s limbs, they were playing Pooh Sticks with them - Finn, Cara, Ava, and Lexi were all at the birthday party where Billy was kidnapped - I think Alan was killed by being slashed in the stomach by Pooh’s claws - the reason for the tool stuff with Pooh is bc the warehouse the rave was in was under construction and Cara told Ava to make sure the tools were moved before the rave started
13:53 "lets bounce" "thats my line" was so cool bro
“CHRISTOPHER’S BROTHER!” Haha that was brilliant.
The Scream 2 reference with the cutoff at 24:41 was hilarious, im living for these jokes on the Kill Count
A.K.A The Sequel No One Asked For, But the Sequel We Deserved 🧸
Honestly, props to Rhys Frake-Waterfield for genuinely trying to improve from the first film. I have never seen a director seek direct feedback from the audience and he ended up making an actually better movie that even impressed James.
I appreciate the fact that you can feature movies you didn't like but still be proud of them for their accomplishments.
I admit that this movie is much better than the original, but it still suffers from what I felt was the original’s biggest problem—the killers don’t feel like the characters they’re meant to be. Sure, Pooh gets to say “Oh, bother,” but he still lacks the personality of Winnie the Pooh. Piglet barely gets to be in the movie, unfortunately, but he bears no resemblance to Piglet in what little screen time he gets. Tigger is nothing like Tigger; he’s basically Freddy Krueger’s fursona. Owl is a Pinhead ripoff with none of Owl’s quirks. These aren’t darker versions of the characters we know and love; they’re generic slashers who happen to be named Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger.
