People are memeing about this being another anbernic handheld, but someone pointed out that it's wonderful having a wide array of form factors avaliable since form factor can matter a lot to people, so I kinda love that honestly, cool providing options for people
anbernic has basically swarmed the 50-70$ market with almost every form factor for that same chip, and honestly it's not a bad idea. cause there's only one more "price point" at about $150-200, and after that it's basically the steam deck
Anbernic watches this and goes... "Wow, there's no pleasing this guy!" đ
honestly this thing is just sooo cute. I want it because of the design and size
Russ. Brother. Your t-shirt gameâespecially as of lateâis exceptional. Just didnât want that bit of praise to get lost in the sea of other, legitimate accolades. Good work outta you, as always.
And NOFX! An absolute all time favorite. Changed my life. I went to Brooklyn, NYC for their Final Tour shows this summer.
I appreciate your commitment to the Ape Escape pronunciation
I honestly like the new retro game content you are showing post-Nintendo fallout. Reminds me there's more good games to play that are part of my collection.
The Anbernic RG CubeXX seems perfect for handheld fighters that were on the GB systems, GG, NG, NGPC, systems especially with that Sega Genesis/Saturn style floating circular d-pad. Can't go wrong with that. Then with the PS button style layout with NS style sticks, which is pretty decent for fighters as well and also for other game genres. Addition to that, good grips, unique 1:1 ratio, cool modern LED sticks and nice colorways with in-game bezels đOverall, man this sure is a frankenstein system indeed! But in a cool, great and good way! Awesome that it can hooked up to a TV too with no problems straight outta the box too so it's like a legit home console. Anbernic, bravo I think you got yourself a 1st place low cost winner system! Anywho excellent video video as always, Russ!!!!
Loving rhe NOFX t-shirt. Been a fan since the early 90s. Glad I got ro see them before they stopped doing gigs.
I think Anbernic just enjoys making handhelds
15:27 this attention to detail is why I love your channel
5:02 "Hey, do you really want this device?" "Yeah, man, I really want it."
New Anbernic just dropped! About $70; H700; Up to PS1 with some dreamcast/N64; Meh speakers; Bad joysticks. That's all, folks! See you next week! (This comment will surely continue to be copy pasted for the next week anbernic release)
Thanks for another great video! I've been curious about this one as I've come to enjoy collecting the XX devices. Also it's really cool that you have had a tangible impact on what's being made, given that you have absolutely had such an impact on the space here on YT. Also also, it seems like you've hit your stride after the mess with Nintendo, so good on you for keeping your head up and thanks for all you do! Much love from the other end of the US.
This is gonna be my first emu device! Started watching early this year, but have held off from picking anything up. Between the early bird sale and a screen that is really good for Pico-8, I think this is the device for me! Edit: I actually got the 40xxV cause I play a lot of SNES and would like the big image for 4:3 content! Pico-8 still looks great!
I have the Cube OG. I love it. One of my main criteria to buy a handheld was the Xbox layout. But for people who like PlayStation, I think they'll like this model's controller. The price is really nice with this one, but I'm happy that I paid for the extra "oomph"of the original.
Am I the only one that can appreciate how Anbernic makes several different form factors at an entry level price? Even if the chip is being reused a lot, it's cheap and it gives people options, especially people looking for their first handheld
Cool that they designed a device to try and fit your need and even reach out to you personally saying âhey man I think youâre gonna like thisâ just goes to show the relationship youâve built with this company. As always loved the video and cheers to all your success Russ
