The best thing I’ve learned in sample making is that if you want something to sound Live/natural your best bet is using live instruments. Getting myself a kalimba, flute, and upright piano were my best investments and I got all of them for a total of 30$. 😂 I still think vsts are great btw.
Accidental dragging happens all the time, I remember one track I copied the chorus vocals a bar too early and it made a really nice pre-drop
