Kelski, heres some very brief lore Adeptus mechanicus - A faction that worships the Omnissiah, AKA the machine god. Space marines - Humans altered by the DNA of the emperor, giving them superhuman strength. Dreadnought - When a space marine is critically wounded and loses limbs, he will be put in a dreadnought which keeps him alive, like a coffin with arms and legs, and guns. Tyranids -BUGS Chapters - A chapter is basically a space marine regiment. Deathwatch - A chapter dedicated to killing tyranids Servitors - Lobotomized criminals used as basic robotics, because AI is extreme heresy Imperial Knight - Massive humanoid robots with entire cathedrals on their backs Boltgun - A space marine gun that uses miniature rocket propelled bullets, hence why they’re so strong. Chainsword - Space marine melee weapon

the red helmets represent squad leaders, the reason Gadriel has one is because he was the squad leader until you show up, yours has that red stripe for the same reason, because you're in charge, it's from a time when the ultramarines lost their vox comms on a mission so couldn't communicate properly so to identify leaders who would gesture orders they're bloody their helmets, it later just became a tradition for the chapter

1:48:22 she has purple eyes because Cadians have purple eyes from a mutation unique to them, like blue or green eyes irl, I like that they added that detail to the guard

The bolters' bullets are actually small rocket propelled grenades so they are indeed chunky.

The jump from Veteran to Angel of Death is massive. I started on Angel of Death and could only get to finish the third mission. Had to go to veteran after because my chest is not hairy enough. A bit disappointed that you didn't even try ;)
