I was conceived to this song, and didn't find that out until year 22. Having always been a big Neil Young fan, a love shared mutually by my Mom,Dad,brother, and uncles, I felt honored... and only mildly creeped out.

Easily one of the greatest romantic songs ever made. And as a couple you grow into it and it becomes more meaningful over time. My guy and I have loved Harvest Moon since 1992 (we met in the summer of '90). For the studio track, I heard that Mr. Young had insisted that there must be someone gently sweeping an old broom on the floor to the rhythm of the song. Little things like that are special and add a certain something.

One of the most magical nights of my life was being stopped while driving home by a man I adored and being pulled out of the car to dance in the rain while this song played in his truck. Then making love the rest of the night while this cd looped in the back ground. Every time I hear this song I smile and think of my friend. I love you baby and always will.
