@MohdAzizulAbdAziz

when people said islam was spread with sword, ill point story like this, and as malay, we remember how the yemeni trader spread islam here. The first King of Malacca, Parameswara had a dream that he was circumcised. The next morning, a yemeni trader came to malacca, and the king learnt about the new religion. as he reverted, the rest of the country reverted to islam.

Omar
Don't forget
Berke was famously remembered as one of Islam's greatest saviors

As he had fought a great war against his brother Hulagu who was known for having destroyed the city of Baghdad
Islam's greatest jewel.

Berke was remembered for having gained vengeance for Baghdad by defeating Hulagus forces in the Caucasus and allowing with the Egyptian mamelukes to bring back unity in the Islamic world.

Thank you for your interesting video

@maddogbasil

Great video as always.

Yo Omar 👋
You have to do a video on Sa'aid of Mogadishu

Somali traders have an unbelievably unknown yet prosperous history

A Somali man unbelievably managed to once Rule the Maldives

The first african ambassador to China was sa'aid of Mogadishu, he even managed to learn and translate Chinese into Somali.

Somali traders founded colonies in South East Africa.
The city of Sofala was founded by Somali merchants.

Alhumdulilah Blessed To Be Muslim am "Mughal" from Pakistan

@abdulali5697

Wow fantastic story. Ma Sha Allah

@laith09

I came upon your channel Omar after a Chinese non-muslim came to me and questioned me a lot on why would Mongols (who became ethnically intertwined with the Chinese's identity) become Muslims and spread it the land of Central Asia and the Mughal Empire, and he cited Berke Khan; he was so surprised that his ancestors converted from his perspective. I have heard about the Mughal Empire, but Berke Khan and his empire that spread to Siberia? God's religion has spread to every ethnicity around the world in ways that highlight the virtues of this great religion.

@GUNN_203

My family are of Mughal Empire Alhamdulillah. ( spoke to family & was told we are Of Mughal blood & not thru marriage. Masha-Allah. 😀

When Temüjin was a boy, the center of the steppe world was the Orkhon Valley, the old imperial site of the Türks. The valley was dominated by the Kereit. To the west, on the upper Irtysh River, lay Naiman territory. The Kereit and Naiman, not the Mongols, were masters of the steppeThe Kereit and Naiman elites spoke Turkic and had partially converted to Christianity under the influence of the Nestorian Church. In an effort to outdo each other, To'oril of the Kereit and Tayang Qan of the Naiman accumulated men, weapons, alliances, and prestige. Yesügei Ba'atur sided with the Kereit. Later Chinggis Khan would subdue the Kereit and the Naiman in the course of a protracted effort to defeat all challengers among the steppe peoples.

0:14 That was the Kara-Khanid Khanate!

@TalhaShaikh-v8w

But they were pissing their pant thinking of invading other powerful muslim empire "mamluks" You see mamluks are juat mongols more emphasis on cavalry but with better armour weapon and obviously arabian horses. Also more rough training as mamluks were not having specific military units like archer, cav archer, cav, infantry one mamluks use to do all roles accordingly when needed. For infantry purpose they mostly used mercenaries

@mr.x653

The majority of the 'Mongols' converted to Islam. Only Khalkha, Buryat and Oirats converted to Buddhism who were clearly a minority.
