That’s why you have 3 dif ride modes ? That’s track mode for TRACK!
1. get a shifter cover sold on amazon 2. you can simply disconnect the lil sound box from behind the glove compartment 3. +R is used for the track, use Sport mode or comfort for street driving 🤷🏻♂️
The first 2 are valid but the 3rd one is the most petty first world problems I have ever heard, it’s like taking a Bugatti off roading and complaining that it suck AT OFF-ROADING! R mode is for track use or racing the 5.0 shitstang at a red light, if I was paying 50,000+ for a performance car I would hope the r mode makes it a performance car.
All things that can be resolved. Change the shift knob, turn off the fake engine sound, and either use Individual with softer suspension settings or get the Integra Type S dampening module.
My only complaint is #1 no hand break!
Oh noo I bought a track engineered car and the suspension is too stiff. Lardass what do you expect
Plus R mode was intended for daily driving?
I would gladly take the 3 annoying things u mentioned any day.
all 3 can be fixed if its REALLY bothering you. 1. Theres an alternate shift knob made by honda 2. Individual mode can change the Engine sound 3. $200 damper module from the Integra Type S.
R mode stands for race mode bruv 😂 it’s suppose to be stiff FOR THE TRACK not for daily driving, there’s comfort mode for that
Bro got the race car version and complained about it being too race car 💀😂
I only use r on the highway the shift knob can be easily swapp the sound can be changed
Have the FL5 myself too. Shift knob problem: just cover it with a baby sock / shift knob cover when you park Fake sound problem: not really a problem. It keeps your neighbors happy and if you really hate it, set your engine sound to comfort will greatly reduce speaker engine sound. +R too stiff problem: that is exactly why Honda put in individual mode, you cat set every thing in +R but suspension in comfort. Here are the true 3 annoying things. 1. There is no auto dimming mirror, and you have to buy the mirror from the accord if you want one. 2, US model temp unit is hard default in Fahrenheit and cannot change to Celsius. 3. There is no seat pocket to store your windshield shade.
For the last one, you can swap out the adaptive damper unit with the integra type s adaptive damper unit
then don’t turn on a track focused mode for daily driving ?
None of these are actually annoying and you can solve them easily. What I find annoying is the lane keep assist that starts tugging at the wheel when it thinks you're drifting in your lane but it actually just can't read the road properly. You can turn it off but it seems you need to do it every time you start the car.
The shift knob getting really hot or cold does suck but it looks and feels so good as metal that it’s forgivable. The pumped in sound is pretty meh, in the middle (sport) setting it’s not so bad, and the suspension I expect to be stiff in +R. The biggest real annoyance is how small the fuel tank is
Bro why would you need sport mode for daily driving
Your complaints are things that can be mitigated pretty easily. If not, then get a minivan
